In the historic town of Spoleto, San Luca is a charming, family-run hotel set in the grounds of a former convent. Breakfast and drinks are served in the floral courtyard.

the hotel very nice, clean ,central place at the old city.
Beautiful old hilltop town with so much to see. There is the Rocca Castle at the top of the town well worth the visit with spectacular views. The Duomo (Cathedral) in Piazza del Duomo, beautiful ceiling paintings. Lots of old narrow streets and lovely market squares, lots of places to stop for a coffee, glass of wine, lunch. Could spend alot longer here than we did. It's very hilly but there is an amazing underground moving escalator system that you can hop on to make it easier to get up those hills! On my previous visit to Spoleto, I stayed at Hotel Clitunno which I also highly recommend.

Spoleto is one of Italy's most pictures and peaceful towns. Very relaxed atmosphere with lots of beautiful restaurants and eateries.
The old Roman structures were not crowded and easy to access on foot. Walking around Spoleto was easy and very safe both by day and night.
Lots of old Roman ruins and artists works in galleries dotted around the town.
A perfect break from the congestion of the big cities. Spoleto will not disappoint. Hotel Duci was in a perfect location with good parking

The view at the top of the mountain using the tramway was exquisite and seeing the bridge and fort....Loved the Duomo beautiful beyond..the old streets...not many tourists...the streets so interesting. It was easy to get around..loved the piazza below our accommodation. Our accommodations were beyond my expectation. The wrap around terrazzo was such a bonus and a special way to end our trip. The old very old church just outside added to the beauty. and the tramway a walk away, The views from our terrazzo was spectacular!.

Spoleto is a city dating back thousands of years, where monuments, fortresses and wonderful awe inspiring churches exist. A modern underground walking/moving escalators and elevators assist young and old alike to move around this wonderful ancient city. There are numerous shops, boutiques, indoor/outdoor restaurants and bars to serve the public. Most important are the friendly people of Spoleto. A must see destination for all.

A really interesting town which is very easy to navigate with underground walkways and escalators. Easy access and easy parking, we wished we could have stayed for more than one night. A lovely Duomo overlooked by hilltop castle from which there is an excellent view.
After a long walk on the Via di Francesco staying at the Borgo della Marmota was a very welcome treat. The building itself and the grounds are beautiful and the interior is very tastefully decorated and very clean. The service was very good from the reception to the restaurant. Food was also excellent both at dinner and for breakfast - another welcome treat since most accommodations in Italy offer a very basic breakfast. It the best accommodation we stay at during our trip! Looking forward to visit again one day.
Perfect location to the city center as well as to very local stores outside the wall. The room is spacious, clean and well-maintained. The parking, which is next to the room, is available for free. Strongly recommend this apartment even for a family with small children.
For international travelers: Spoleto is a hidden gem in Umbria. Since Spoleto is not a city relies sorely on tourism, you can find historical aspects of Italy and at the same time the normal life of Italian people.
Very well furnished, bright and everything you would need was supplied! Owner was great with communicating quickly. Bathrooms were big and there was one for each of the 3 bedrooms. Importantly, the showers were very good sizes. Location was very good because it was located within walking distance of the old center and across a square where there was one of the most beautiful churches of Spoleto. Place was very well insulated from outside noise.
A wonderful stay at the Villa on my "Via di Francesco". The Villa is between Trevi and Spoleto in Poreta and is a great place to relax in rural italy after the busy Towns. Beautifull Villa with a very spacious room. The host is very helpfull and offered me the choice of either have a local make me a simple diner or bring me to a restaurant. I did chose the simple dinner (bread, tomato, egg, vegetable pie) which was a delight.
Comfortable bed, armchair in bedroom, good wifi reception in bedroom, small desk for laptop, wall-mounted tv in room (Italian channels only). Quiet, even though near a busy main road. 2 minutes' walk from two good supermarkets.
The centro storico of Spoleto is easily reachable on foot via the mechanised walkway from Posterna. The garden is very pleasant and would be a lovely place to relax in the warmer weather.
Beautiful grounds, large spacious rooms, excellent restaurant and great value. The Borgo has a long history and there is a simple, easygoing charm and understated style to all the rooms and outdoor spaces. There are lots of places inside and out where one can relax. It would make a good base for day trips in Umbria. The restaurant has many choices and even attracts outside visitors.
Pietro and his father Giorgio were very helpful, supporting all our requests.
The room is new, nice and comfortable. All new facilities are well selected.
There is a big jacuzzi in the garden.
They have a free hotel parking ticket for a nearby location, where there is a free escalator up to the town piazzas and locations.
Lovely hotel. Just outside Spoleto so you need a car. Big room and big bathroom, well equipped. We were able to park directly outside our room. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Used the swimming pool twice. Water is a bit cold but fine once you are in. Nice breakfast.
Breakfast was very good, with good choices for protein and pleasure. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The apartment (with full kitchen) was clean, quiet and spacious. The swimming pool was a plus, as was the view across the nearby farms to the hills beyond.
This hotel is incredible, the staff is very helpful, our room was more than spectacular, the best we have ever stayed in Italy, and we have been in Italy literally a score of times. The location could not be better for seeing the beautiful city of Spoleto.
The hotel was conveniently located in the upper town but was very quiet. The beautiful garden had great views across the valley and into the mountains. The young woman at he front desk was extremely informative and accommodating.
Absolutely wonderful—Lori is the quintessential hostess who manages every detail with an eye to comfort, design and good taste. The setting is historic and the breakfast divine. One of the best!
Everything was just wonderful. Super hotel in a great location for exploring the town, lots of history and interesting things to visit and a really spectacular castle and cathedral
